About the Zoom CableModem With
10BaseT Interface
The DOCSIS 1.0 based Zoom CableModem features a low-cost, highly
integrated design, a software upgradeable Media Access Control, and can be easily upgraded
to DOSCIS 1.1 when available.
The
Zoom CableModem Model 5011 is a DOCSIS standard compliant cable modem of exceptional
quality and value. It is easily connected to any computer with an Ethernet port and
provides status reporting with four LED indicators.
The
Zoom CableModem Model 5011 is based on the DOCSIS 1.0 (Data Over Cable Interface
Specification) standard supported by cable systems around the world. As local cable
operators adopt the newer DOCSIS 1.1 standard, the Zoom CableModem can be upgraded easily
with a simple software download.
