Convergent Communications reduces
15" LCD MONITOR prices.
Ultra-slim liquid crystal monitor
Bangalore, May, Friday 25, 2001: Convergent Communications India Pvt Ltd.
today announced reduction in price of the Easel range of 15 inch LCD monitors to Rupees
55,000 and have introduced 17" LCD monitor. The flat screen color monitor employs TFT
active matrix technology providing high quality and crisp images.
Easel saves up-to 70% in energy costs, consuming just 27 watts of power, reducing electric
waves by more than 90%, generating minimal heat when compared to CRT monitors. The Easel
has a unique feature that enables users to rotate and alternate the screen from portrait
to landscape views.
Mr. Venkat Kedalaya, Managing Director, Convergent Communications said, "With the
reduction in flat panel prices, the cost of 15 inch LCD monitor has come down and We would
like our customers to benefit from the LCD technology as the LCD monitor is now available
at much lower price "
Easel 15" monitors, is priced at Rupees 55,000.
Easel 17" monitor is priced at Rupees. 70,000.
