Objectives and Benefits of Module 1

Wireless Networking - Concepts

Wireless Communication Technologies are growing in an exponential way. GSM, WILL, Wireless LAN, Wireless MAN, VSAT, 3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, GPS, Wireless Internet, PAN, CDMA..too many buzzwords, too many technologies for choice, hence confusion

Technology may look like complex stuff. But the truth is, if the concepts are clear, technology will be real joy. It is interesting to note that though more and more specialised technologies are being evolved, fundamental framework remains same. Hence it is very important to understand the fundamentals.

This seminar aims at imparting fundamentals of Wireless Networking technologies, primarily at system level.

Who will benefit from this?

End users

  • Government
  • Corporate
  • Top and middle management executives of both IT & non-IT organisations interested to know on Wireless Communications, but don't find time
  • Executives involved in selecting / recommending wireless technologies

Communication business companies

  • Marketing and sales personnel responsible for bringing Wireless Communication business
  • Field personnel interested in installation, commissioning and maintenance of wireless equipment

Service Providers like ISPs, Basic service providers, cellular operators

  • People involved in using wireless technologies, at various levels
  • Fresh recruits [ but to be trained ]

R&D Institutions

Organisations who want to provide wireless domain knowledge for the Electronics / Computers science graduate engineers , who need to develop wireless products

Academic Institutes

Students

  • Final year studying in Electronics / Communications / Computer science / Information Science

Investors

  • Interested in knowing concepts of wireless communications

Others

  • Working Engineers with the background of Electronics / Computer Science / Electrical / Information science , aspiring to take 'Wireless Communications' as the career
  • Any enthusiast, with a desire to acquire knowledge in this field

Objectives and Benefits of Module 2

Wireless LAN & Wireless MAN

Out of many wireless technologies, Wireless LANs & Wireless MANs are gaining importance because of intra-office and inter-office connectivity needs. CCIPL has about 100 Man-years of experience in building Wireless Networks for many clients all over India. Module #2 aims at providing hands-on training to the participants.

Who will benefit from this?

  • Field level people [ both sales and support ] interested to actively involve in Wireless Networking
  • People who would like to become Wireless Network Solution architects
