Convergent Training Program
Wireless Networking -
Concepts - Two-day technical seminar on [15th & 16th of March 2002]
Wireless LAN & Wireless
MAN - Two-day workshop on [18th & 19th March 2002]
About the Training
CCIPL, as an authorized training partner for Motorola, has been in training activities
for last three years, for a limited customer segment. To address different levels of
requirement, the plans of the division are to conduct three types of programs namely:
1. Foundation level program
2. Advance level programs
3. Special programs

Current
Program
Current program, 'Wireless Connect' is planned for 4 days comprising of two
sequential modules:
Module #1 :
Two day concept seminar - Wireless Networking - Concepts
Module #2
Two day workshop- Wireless LAN & Wireless MAN

Objectives
and Benefits of Module 1
Wireless Networking - Concepts
Wireless Communication Technologies are growing in an exponential way. GSM, WILL, Wireless
LAN, Wireless MAN, VSAT, 3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, GPS, Wireless Internet, PAN, CDMA..too many
buzzwords, too many technologies for choice, hence confusion
Technology may look like complex
stuff. But the truth is, if the concepts are clear, technology will be real joy. It is
interesting to note that though more and more specialised technologies are being evolved,
fundamental framework remains same. Hence it is very important to understand the
fundamentals.
This seminar aims at imparting
fundamentals of Wireless Networking technologies, primarily at system level.
Who will benefit from this?
End users
- Government
- Corporate
- Top and middle management executives of both IT &
non-IT organisations interested to know on Wireless Communications, but don't find time
- Executives involved in selecting / recommending wireless
technologies
Communication business companies
- Marketing and sales personnel responsible for bringing
Wireless Communication business
- Field personnel interested in installation, commissioning
and maintenance of wireless equipment
Service Providers like ISPs, Basic service providers,
cellular operators
- People involved in using wireless technologies, at various
levels
- Fresh recruits [ but to be trained ]
R&D Institutions
