Convergent ties up with Zoom Telephonics
Strengthens networking portfolio with Zoom’s
modems, wireless LAN and ISDN products |

After testing the waters for the last two years, Venkat Kedlaya, managing director of
Convergent Communications, has decided that his company is now ready to provide its
customers with broader set of products and solutions.
"We want to build our core competency in networking as our core understanding is
communications. And that end we have tied up with Zoom Telephonics of the US to expand our
products and services in that area", said Mr. Kedlaya.
Zoom Telephonics designs, produces and markets dial-up modems, cable and ADASL modems,
wireless LAN products, home phone-line networking devices and other data communication
products under the Zoom, Hayes and Global Village brands.
